The Resend card, Send emails through Resend, connects your own Resend account. GigJack then sends invoice emails and venue emails through that account, from your own domain. Email that GigJack sends in its own name, such as notifications, does not use this connection.

Open the Resend card

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Band settings (Workspace settings in an artist profile), select Integrations.
  3. Select the Resend logo to expand the card.

Only an Admin sees this item, on Band Silver or higher, or Artist Gold. Available in a band and an artist profile. See Integrations for the controls all cards share.

Get the API key in Resend

Do this in your Resend account before you add the key in GigJack.

  1. In Resend, open Domains, select Add Domain and add the DNS records Resend shows to your domain. Wait until Resend reports the domain as verified. See Resend: add a domain.
  2. Open API keys and select Create API Key. Choose the permission Sending access and restrict the key to your verified domain. See Resend: create an API key.
  3. Copy the key. Resend shows it only once.

The labels in these steps are Resend’s and can change. Resend’s guides describe the current screens.

Webhook configuration

A webhook lets Resend report what happens to an invoice email after it is sent. The reports appear in the Invoice history: delivered, delayed, bounced, marked as spam, failed or suppressed. Venue emails get no delivery reports.

  1. Select Generate endpoint. The field Webhook endpoint shows the address.
  2. Select Copy endpoint.
  3. In Resend, open Webhooks, select Add Webhook and paste the address. See Resend: create a webhook.
  4. Select the events email.delivered, email.delivery_delayed, email.bounced, email.complained, email.failed and email.suppressed. GigJack ignores other events.

Below the field, Last event shows the date of the last report, or No events received yet.
