The Mollie card, Send payment links through Mollie, stores the API key of your Mollie account. With the key stored, an invoice gets a Payment link section: GigJack creates a Mollie payment page for the invoice total, and marks the invoice paid once Mollie reports the payment.
Open the Mollie card
- Open Settings.
- Under Band settings (Workspace settings in an artist profile), select Integrations.
- Select the Mollie logo to expand the card.
Only an Admin can store the key, on Band Silver or higher, or Artist Gold. Available in a band and an artist profile. The card also appears in the Integrations step of the Finance setup wizard. See Integrations for the controls all cards share.
Get the API key in Mollie
- Sign in to your Mollie dashboard. You need a website profile there; Mollie creates the keys per profile.
- Open Developers › API keys.
- Copy the Live API key to take real payments, or the Test API key to try the payment flow first.
See Mollie: authentication and API keys. The labels in these steps are Mollie’s and can change.
Mollie API key
| Setting | What to enter | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Mollie API key | Your live or test key from the Mollie dashboard. It starts with live_ or test_. | Connects your Mollie account. Select Configure, paste the key and select Save. Replace key and Remove key change or remove it. |
Test and live keys
With a test key, Mollie creates test payment pages and no real money is paid. Replace it with the live key before you send payment links to customers.
You don’t set up a webhook in Mollie. GigJack gives each payment link its own address for Mollie’s status updates. Refresh payment status on the invoice asks Mollie for the status at any time.
Where GigJack uses it
| Where | What the connection adds |
|---|---|
| Invoice details | The section Payment link with Create payment link and Refresh payment status. Creating a link also needs Finance & accounting (Band Gold, Artist Gold). A paid link marks the invoice paid. Voiding the invoice removes the link. |
