The Bandsintown card connects the band’s Bandsintown artist page. With the API key and the artist ID stored, GigJack fetches the artist profile, imports upcoming events as gigs, and imports newly announced events every night.
Open the Bandsintown card
- Open Settings.
- Under Band settings, select Integrations.
- Select the Bandsintown logo to expand the card.

Get the API key in Bandsintown
The API key comes from Bandsintown for Artists, for the artist page you manage.
- In Bandsintown for Artists, open Settings under the artist’s profile.
- Select General.
- Select Get API Key, or Copy API Key when a key already exists.
See Bandsintown: what is the Bandsintown API. According to Bandsintown, managers of an artist can get a key, and each key is linked to one artist. The labels in these steps are Bandsintown’s and can change.
The artist ID is the number in the address of your artist page on Bandsintown: bandsintown.com/a/<artist ID>.

The check mark on the card appears as soon as one of the two is stored. The import and the nightly import need both.
Sync history
Every night GigJack imports newly announced Bandsintown events as gigs, for a band with both the key and the artist ID stored and a plan that includes Integrations (incl. Bandsintown, TomTom, Resend). An event that may already be in your calendar is never imported automatically; import it yourself from the Gigs page after checking.
Once both are stored, Sync history opens Bandsintown sync history. It lists the nightly runs of about the last two months.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Run | When the run started. |
| Result | Completed or Failed, with the reason, for example The Bandsintown artist ID is not set. |
| Imported, In calendar, Deferred, Needs review, Seen before | How many events the run imported, found already in your calendar, left for the next night, left for you to check, or had handled before. |
| New venues | How many venues the run created. |
Select a run to see Events in this run, with Date, Event, Venue, Outcome (Imported, Already in calendar, Deferred to next night or Needs review), Likely in calendar and Gig. Open gig opens the matching gig.
